Our inaugural Easter Basketball Camp, which ran from 3rd – 6th April at Saracens High School, saw up to 30 campers participate in a fun-filled week of basketball. The camp was split into two groups – our ‘Mini Elite’ for ages 7-12 and ‘Junior Elite’ campers for those aged 13-16.
Our coaches, former Bulldogs player Antonio Deogratias and Neville Polson put our campers through their paces during the week, with our morning sessions based around fundamental skills, and the afternoon session involving competitive drills, with scrimmages to conclude each day.
The campers were treated to a talk by international dunk champion and former BBL player, Joel “Royal Guard” Henry, who spoke to the campers about his story, his experiences touring around the world and the dedication required to become a professional.
